We are pleased to announce that we have received the first batch of iLaunch Wireless Launch Controller (#89383) production units!

After extensive testing with production samples, we have determined that the use of AA size 3.2 Volt, LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) rechargeable batteries delivers excellent performance in igniting all 4 sizes of FirstFire initiators. These lithium iron phosphate batteries and chargers are available from AeroTech at the following links:



An additional firmware update will be necessary to accommodate these higher voltage lithium iron phosphate batteries. This can be easily done through the app when the customer initially uses their iLaunch Controller. A special label has also been added to the iLaunch retail display clamshell package recommending the lithium iron phosphate rechargeable batteries and where to get them.

These developments have resulted in significantly improved performance of the new iLaunch Wireless Launch Controller. Currently, it appears that the inexpensive, AA size 3.2 Volt, lithium iron phosphate rechargeable batteries will deliver hundreds of launchings on a single charge.
