The AeroTech Reloadable Motor System RMS is an aluminum cased reusable motor in kit form that is assembled by the user. You will need AeroTech RMS-29/120 motor hardware to build and complete the motor for many reliable flights. Motor hardware is available separately in a complete set, and also as individual parts. Important: High Power RMS reload kits are not compatible with Mid Power RMS products. You will need to set the desired delay time using the 18-38mm Delay Drilling Tool (RDDT), Not Included. The 18-38mm Delay Drilling Tool (RDDT) is available in the AeroTech Accessories section of this website.
This RMS motor reload utilizes RCSs exclusive Redline™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces a visible scarlet flame. Redline™ motors burning rate lies midway between that of White Lightning™ and Blue Thunder™. Photos don’t do justice to the “laser-beam” intensity and color of Redline™…. you have to see it to appreciate it!
The AeroTech motor reload kit comes with 1 rocket motor reload. Reload kits include all internal motor components and FirstFire™ Initiators. This AeroTech motor is U.S. mailable with no hazmat fee! The sale of this high power motor to persons under 18 years of age is currently prohibited by federal law. Orders containing this item will not be shipped until proof of age (such as a copy of a driver’s license) is received.
Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).
